SHOTO'S SYSTEM -✨ Discussing D.I.D✨

Today, we'll begin a discussion of Shoto's system with a look at the most frequently asked questions.

As most of you may be aware, Shoto's system consists of three known alters.

Shoto (The Host)
Sho Sho (The Little)
Turtle (the "Protector")

Currently, he may have other alters that we are unaware of, and they may be dormant and inactive. The turtle, the protector, moves into and out of dormancy and is often activated by the brain during a stressful event or to "protect." Therefore, it is possible that Shoto is unaware of further latent changes in his system, which might be activated in the future by a trigger.

Shoto (the host) may also become dormant if he gets overwhelmed with his responsibilities. However, here is where Goro comes in and how his dependence on Goro saves him from himself. Shoto's day-to-day existence and obligations are made easier by Goro's involvement. Goro often bathes, feeds, and dresses Shoto, among other chores. This also aids the system in a variety of ways and makes Sho Sho feel secure and at ease, enabling him to speak up when he desires.

Important to their coexistence is the fact that their S/M contract is not only sexual in nature. Even though Shoto is capable of doing these tasks on his own, he finds them daunting when he gets "episodes" or "brain fog."

In addition, as a result of the continual switching, Shoto may not recall some events or actions, although Goro normally recalls everything for both of them. Goro plays the "caregiver" role more than the "lover" role, despite being both. Therefore, being in a "relationship" is not very essential to him.

Returning to the system, there are times when Shoto and Sho Sho front at the same time, which is never an easy situation for Goro as it gets quite complicated. Shoto is often highly confused and has mild headaches afterward.

Currently, Shoto's system is very disorganized due to the fact that essential alters, such as "The Gatekeeper," remain inactive. While Shoto has limited control over who may switch and who has access to particular memories, he does not have complete control over either, which is why he cannot control Turtle and cannot control any memories.

Some formerly active alters are now inactive, including the "suicidal alter" or "self-harm alter." This alter was quite active throughout Shoto's time in the Syndicate as well as during the early days of his and Goro's S/M contract. Shoto is unaware of this alter, which has been inactive for a few years, and this alter's primary purpose is to commit suicide or self-harm. Although Shoto (the host) has depressive episodes and suicidal thoughts, this is not his primary motivation for existing.

While he is the "Protector," Turtle is also exceedingly "homicidal," which is extremely uncommon in D.I.D. systems. As a result of the stress and Hiro, Turtle has become a kind of shattered alter. Due to their brutal upbringing, he was pushed to become this way, despite the fact that he was not intended to be like this. Individuals with DID are more inclined to damage themselves than others. However, this is not the case with Shoto's system. Currently, Shoto's system is very chaotic and disorderly.
