As I mentioned, it's strange, but let's go further and demonstrate to you that what you're saying truly doesn't make any sense. My views are obviously different from everyone else's, but I don't really care whether they are accepted. I won't pretend that I am ignorant of the genre of the story I am reading or the characters. 1) To argue that Goro essentially broke Shoto's trust is a bunch of nonsense. Goro has lied to Shoto before, and I'm sure he won't stop until he confesses to being a serial killer. To keep Shoto safe, he has always lied about certain things. This is nothing new. Goro does not play about Shoto, and we are all aware of this, and he makes no effort to hide it. In Goro's view, this is him taking care of Shoto since Shoto has to trust him to look after him. Speaking from your point of view rather than the character's, it's okay, but the statement literally makes no sense. 2)When Goro thinks it's ready and Shoto is mentally prepared to hear it, I have no doubt that Goro will tell Shoto about it. You're considering the scenario from a selfish perspective and ignoring the reality that Shoto just had a major mental breakdown and internal crisis, say, a few hours ago? He needs some time to gather himself first. I'm considering this from the perspective of the character, even though we don't know what the chapter will be about. 3)You bring up the contract, but there is also something in there that practically grants Goro ownership of Shoto's body. It wasn't specific, but it was there. No drugs were mentioned in the contract, but it is not really relevant. .4) I'm not sure how you believe Goro pulled off any of this "impulsively" considering what he basically told Ren in the previous chapter about how he planned everything and just a few aspects were beyond his control. 5) No, Ren needed to be kicked in the ass right then and there, and in my opinion, it was well deserved. Please be real and Ren has been bullying Shoto for YEARS, and I doubt he would have stopped if Goro hadn't confronted him then and there. 6) It makes no difference whether Goro is aware of Shoto's views on violence because that is what he DOES. He is a serial killer who started killing before Shoto was his sub. Goro has been killing people since he was 12 years old. Do we read the same story, or did you just neglect to mention that? Goro promised to keep Shoto safe at any cost. He even said that he didn't care if Shoto thought of him as a monster as long as he was safe. 7) So Goro should disregard violence merely because Shoto dislikes it? Let's assume that is the case, and therefore, should Goro have ignored the guy who was about to "rape" Shoto in the restroom? Should Goro disregard the fact that Hiro is pursuing Shoto and simply choose not to defend him since Shoto detests violence? Your assertions are ridiculous. 8) I don't mean to imply that they shouldn't sit down, only that it may not happen right now and probably won't happen in this chapter. You are free to feel whatever you want about a story, but it is ridiculous to entirely ignore certain elements in order to prove a point.

But Shoto finding out that 1) he was drugged by someone he trusts most of all and 2) Finds out LATER about WHY he was drugged in the first place wouldn’t trigger him at all??? Like that that wouldn’t put into question all the trust and respect they’ve built up over the years? Come on. Goro made an impulsive decision to soothe an itch for vengeance. Him going after Ren did not have to be done in that moment. He has all the time in the world to settle things with Ren. I don’t agree with your “it had to be done” statement. As you’ve said, Goro knows Shoto’s stance on violence in regards to him and still elects to do it because of what? He *~knows~* better? Please. Disregarding your partners wishes IS side-eye worthy. Even in their contract it states that they BOTH have to agree on certain things for them to act. Where is the consent to drugs? Hm? I jokingly made a statement of not wanting to side-eye Goro because it felt “icky” because I usually agree with him. It’s weird that you’re claiming that I’m essentially virtue signaling when Goro himself knows he did something against his own moral code. It means he has his limits. Which is good because it opens up the possibility of Shoto and Goro having check-in moment. You’re not going to always agree with your partner and you need to find a solution before it ruins the relationship. Just of curiosity, do you always feel like you have to like every single action a character does in a story you enjoy? You can critique/voice an opinion but still indulge in the plot you know that…right? But hey, that’s just me.

Why would you side-eye Goro though or feel icky? It's not like he drugged shoto to have sex with him (aka rape him). I don't agree with drugging loved ones either, but shoto has already expressed how he feels about Goro hurting people for him, Goro knows that he had to drug him or it would trigger him. I really don't see how this can make anyone feel icky, like Goro said it's against all his morals but it had to be done. Also, Goro has done worst to other people, sure they were shit people but it's still murder. I find it weird for anyone reading a story like this and automatically have some moral high ground when something doesn't go how you would like. Just saying. All I see is no one but the people who were supposed to get hurt, got hurt and Shoto can have a night trigger free with his master. But hey, that's just....me

While this is v adorable and I’m excited for the spice….I need Goro to tell Shoto about the drink BEFOREHAND. I don’t want to have to side eye Goro because it feels icky 🥺. Like, up until now he’s been greatly/completely justified. Killing pedos? Always morally correct. Killing rapists? Hell yeah. Stabbing bullies? One could argue it wouldn’t happen if the bully had never been a bully in the first place. But drugging loved ones…I gotta draw the line somewhere!
