16 Facts about TANAKA KARASU ✨

Hey guys, since we will be diving deeper into the plot, we haven't spoken much about Shoto's siblings. Here are a few facts that will be valuable to understanding Karasu's character. [These are non-spoilers]

1. Karasu is the most "forgiving" of his siblings and strives to maintain harmony among everyone. His demeanor is comparable to that of Hiro in his adolescence and to Sakura's kind and gentle nature.

2. He was sickly and weaker as a child and required more attention and care than his other siblings. As a result of this, Sakura had a soft spot for him among all the children, including Shoto.

3. He is less verbal and likes to express himself through music. Due to his "listening" disposition, he gets along with Hiro better than with his other siblings. He likes to avoid problems with his family and overlook most things.

4. In addition, he is a lieutenant in the "Explosive Division," alongside Satsujin. He was stationed there primarily by Hiro to monitor Satsujin. Karasu ought to have had his own division dedicated only to "slient" operations and assassinations. However, he prefers to work alone when he has assignments within that field and doesn't like to control others.

5. He hates being held responsible for Satsujin's actions, and this is when he usually becomes defensive since they are both adults with their own lives.

6. Apart from Eiko, Hiro has a soft spot for Karasu and generally allows him to accompany him to meetings that the other siblings are not permitted to attend. Despite the fact that Yasei-ji is his right-hand man, he primarily talks to Karasu about his personal problems. Due to his attentive and kind nature, Karasu reminds Hiro of Sakura. Karasu's face is also generally always covered, which means it's easier to look at his eyes when Hiro is speaking to him, and he was gifted with Sakura's eyes as well.

7. Hiro didn't expect much from him, especially given how sensitive Sakura was about Karasu. He is the only brother who has received Hiro's "soft parenting." Karasu was therefore spared from fighting his siblings after two mishaps, and Hiro mostly concentrated his training on assassinations and one-on-one combat.

8. Turtle is the reason he wears a mask, which has additional implications. This caused Sakura to feel contempt for Shoto for a while, which Karasu was aware of, but he did not blame Shoto.

12. He is so close to Satsujin that he would consider him his best friend. He hates the fact that he uses narcotics, but he understands why he does so. When Hiro forced Satsujin to perform drug tests, he would urinate in cups for him so he wouldn't get in trouble.

13. Satsujin is the only person outside Sakura who has caused him intense emotional distress, and it is due to his drug use. Even though he never tells him, he constantly sings and writes about it. He recognizes that music is like his own addiction and sympathizes with Satsujin.

14. Hiro allowed him to quit school and pursue music at an early age. He is also the only sibling who is not as heavily involved in the yakuza. His music career and family are both very important to him since he is very famous in Japan and across the world. Additionally, he operates a well-known music business in Shibuya and other areas. He is the lead guitarist and lead vocalist for the well-known rock band Death Rockz.

15. Even though he misses Sakura terribly, he focuses on other elements of his life in order to avoid dwelling on her.

16. His greatest fear is that Hiro or one of his siblings might die as a result of their lifestyle, although he tries not to focus on it. Some part of him is happy that Shoto isn't part of the syndicate anymore.
