2022-11-12 03:56:55 +0000 UTCDespite my fears, I think something that Goro has going for him is the fact that no one would probably believe Ren if he said anything. It’s the consequence of being an unreliable narrator. It’s so wild to even imagine that such a well known and RICH heir to a well established conglomerate would do such a thing. Then picturing Goro’s well crafted image/personality. Ren would have very uphill battle (he’s in Kobayashi turf and any video recording would probably be taken in by Saitama or Goro himself). Geez, it kind of almost makes you feel sorry for Ren. Almost.

He’s just a bit too calm after the initial shock? (Or maybe he’s trying to survive, probably) He’s usually very reactive (ie like with Shoto). Maybe because he views Goro as genuine threat? He knows Goro could easily over power him (basketball court).
