Something I just thought about: What would it take for Shoto (or Goro) to leave? And conversely, what would they do to keep each other? Up until this point Shoto has justified everything with the mindset, As long as I get to be with Goro it’s alright. But, in my opinion, that isn’t sustainable. Something like spiking his drink is way out of bounds of their contract. Shoto doesn’t want Goro hurting/killing people in his name, as stated multiple times. Goro has said multiple times that he would kill for him if need be. So if and when that time comes would he leave? And, mind you, this is not including the killings Goro has already committed and Shoto doesn’t know about. We can see Shoto “waffling” (not the word I wanna use but it’s the best I got) more and more because Goro has always been about Shoto. He has always been the number one priority and Shoto doesn’t want to lose that. Shoto has admitted that he too would do anything to protect Goro (art museum incident). I feel like we’re headed towards , “As long as Goro loves me, it’s alright.” territory. Which…uh… 👀👀 Marked me down as cautious and intrigued.

I feel like he still told him that he needs to get used to him hurting people because he has never harmed Sho sho or will allow them to harm him without repercussions. I just didn’t think Sho sho would know it’d be right then. And Goro was trying to hold back hence his apology because he didn’t want to have to drug Sho sho. Which is so sad. But to be honest I think Goro is going to tell him when they get home. I don’t think he can not tell Sho Sho. He likes transparency and to be transparent to sho sho. But I agree. Also I’m super pumped for the next chapter!

I wanna see how this plays out. There's a level of consensual nonconsent in a Master/slave relationship, but this goes against that. Medicinal control isn't in the contract either. It seems Goro is aware as he apologies to Sho while preparing it. I wonder how these two possibilities could play out- 1) If Sho doesn't realize he's been drugged, will Goro volunteer the info and face Sho's reaction. 2) if Sho realizes he's been drugged, then how will he respond to it and which version of him will respond. Of course there's the 3) completely ignore this ever happened.... but Goro is too principled to do that and Turtle is not going to allow anyone to think it's okay to cross a line that puts him at risk. Excited for the next chapter!!!

As much we don’t like Ren…Personally, I think he’s too “high profile” to get got…just yet. Just off the heels of the incident in the locker room area they’ll immediately suspect the players. Also I don’t know how I feel about the drink….yes it technically gives Shoto plausible deniability in case things go south but it also makes me question if this is the first time Goro has done something like this (with Shoto). This could put a real crack in their trust and I really don’t wanna see that happen 😭.
