For some reason I got the feeling he liked his hair long and he was nicer then. I could be reading too much into it. He looks good either way 🥰

Sakura painted Hiro's nails since she was his wife and the only woman who he allowed to be in close proximity to him/touch him. She would also paint her nails pink before painting his, and depending on the occasion or her playful attitude, she would sometimes paint two of his nails pink. There is an additional explanation, but it is a spoiler, therefore it will be concealed for now. Additionally, she was still alive, and Shoto was going to become one year old at the time. Hopefully, this has clarified some questions!
