Added 2022-02-26 14:11:11 +0000 UTCEDIT 01/03/22: did that middle bit now, and couple other bits and bobs, so I'd like to call this 98.3% finished now. There'll always be a couple niggles towards putting things together in an album, but I'm just going to keep notes for now and take a break from this music making deluge.

Not quite finished; the middle completely peters out since I haven't really got a good idea for a breakdown just yet. Also the mix gets a little wonky at points.
Been working on this for about a week, so need a break from the incessant harmonic bass. It's long since this started off as more or less a "more soulful Flat Eric" loop-y tune, but then I couldn't help myself adding a bunch of variations and chord changes. So in the end, I dedicated the first 3 minutes to hardly change at all, just to get the earworm in, before going all jazzy.
Anyway I like February because the sun is finally coming out, but the sky and clouds still do some nice and weird things, and finally we're seeing the back of depressing, dank and dark mornings and afternoons.
