Also I hate Natron; it's bugs and annoyances make it take a WHOLE DAY just to composite the elements together and do the subtle camera aberration stuff. What a waste of my time. "Version 2.4" is a joke, it's a prototype, simply put. Unusable for reliable and consistent work. I'm only doing ONE FRAME as a pipeline concept piece, and it's constantly glitching, producing renders that don't match the viewport, etc etc. Anyway I'm looking at alternatives.
Nuke costs £4000 (piss off), Davinci Resolve/Fusion my computer's too old for and I can't get the parts cos of this stupid bitcoin business. I'm trying to get away from Adobe and After Effects since the layer/timeline based workflow isn't really my kind of thing. I'm really digging nodes. Oh and Blender's compositor is missing some filters/features I need. I'll see if I can borrow David's more up to date computer just to give Fusion a spin.
Anyway, I find it funny that the first drawing where the fox cowboy looks kind of intimidating and cocky, degenerated into just looking drunk by the final drawing. And also 12 field paper is TINY for 'scope ratio. I may have to upgrade to 16F for wide shots like these.
