E Piano and Dexed bass jam
Added 2019-07-27 16:31:05 +0000 UTCA very sloppy, poorly mixed improv' jam to prove that making preset track templates for REAPER is worth it. It took only about 30 minutes or so to get this track down, whereas before if I wanted to start making a tune it would take 30 minutes just to set up the drum machine. Of course I ain't going to use presets all the way through, but there's always certain sounds I like to start off with to get an idea down. So, the whole preset thing really helps let me write a song before forgetting what the idea was. Excuse the bum notes.
Same goes for certain acoustic tracks; what's the point in setting up a mid-side decoder and reverb every time I want to record, when I can just click the track preset and record! It's not like there's much creativity being lost in that department, mid-side conversion is just a utility and the reverb can always be tweaked before or after.
