Fixing up the plans (And 1 day delay announcement)
Added 2024-07-01 10:51:49 +0000 UTCI knew I'd have an issue or two when I ended up planning more of Arc 6 than Arc 4 during the planning week, and it's happening.
While I'm having zero issues writing the chapters - it seems my ability to just write is improved when I live alone - they feel directionless, and a little slow. I like that they're comedic, and interpersonal, and I don't think the chapters are bad in any way, but rereading this arc makes it clear that it's a little more on the balls of its feet than I want and isn't moving at a pace that I find fully acceptable.
There's also just the fact that since I don't have good plans, if I get sick the story will suffer a lot. I don't plan to get sick, but no one does, so.
I'm working 3.5 days of my normal schedule today, I normally split my work out to all 7 days as I'm disabled and splitting the burden works well for me, but... that does mean the chapter will likely be be Tuesday instead of Monday, because I'm going to be too dead to get out of bed for a good portion of Monday. Friday should still be on schedule, no worries there.
After that though, and the reason I'm doing it, is because I need a few days to give this story some real time, energy, and focus, and if that means kicking my own ass to earn the time, well that's what I'm going to do.
The story should have more direction after this, some plans, and hopefully I'll have time to give the system some thought too so, all around I'm excited.
Even if right now I'm in hell.
See you all Tuesday, probably.

Yeah, I wasn't a huge fan of CH 52 (posted yesterday) I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but 1.5 chapters stuck in the same room? Really? That pacing just isn't my style. I need a moment, so, I'm gonna take it. It's best for the story, I think.
