September Set Update - Creator Diary #93

Hey everyone!

I’ve been busy working on the next set for September, and I’m really excited about this one – it’s all about kitchen appliances. From essentials that make every kitchen functional to a few extra details that bring personality, this set is shaping up to be a perfect match for your Sims’ kitches.

I’m taking the functional appliances we already have in The Sims 4 and giving them a modern redesign that feels more stylish and more me. I’m also adding decorative versions for when you just want the look without the interactions, plus some special versions with food to make kitchens feel more realistic and full of life. To top it off, I’m experimenting with modding a couple of these appliances to add extra functionality or at least a mimic of it.

And since so many of you have been asking for it – yes, the INSTANT POT t is coming back! Instead of reusing my old version, I went ahead and built a completely new model from scratch. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I think it’ll be a fun addition to your Sims’ kitchens.

It’s been really fun experimenting with different designs and testing how they look in-game. I want these pieces to feel versatile – from a clean, minimal kitchen to a cozy one filled with details.
