So, the exact details of "what stupid shit can you put in a will" differs wildly between countries, but in general you can "sue" the will itself. So, your estranged father dies and his will states that you, his only child, will receive his , but only if you cut your left ear off, you can go to court and say to the judge essentially: "this stipulation is stupid, it violates customary norms, religious believes, whatever else, and I want the stipulation abolished". If your argument is "good enough", especially if there are no claimants that would argue the interpretation or validity of the clause, the judge can usually just rule it out, and you get the inheritance. Judge acts here essentially as "common sense" arbiter, and I think you can appeal if the will is upheld, if a judge happens to be weird about it.

In search of more content I bought this subscription so I can now go back and watch all the extras. Few questions though having now seen all the podcast eps: -what happened with the live shows? Did no one really buy tickets!? - Did a few of the extras get deleted? Or they never existed? - If we send things to Williams PO Box addressed to Safety third how long would they be waiting before being opened? I was thinking of sending you guys some propper European chocolate fresh off the shelves for you to compare against after your chocolate convo in ep 100, but I won’t if it’s going to sit for months melting. Ps, I wish I could come to Open Sauce but you had to put it on the same weekend and the LeMans 24 hour race in France!!! 😤 there better be a next year Mr William!
