New Chapters Added

Because the flu has snagged me here, I thought I'd share what I do to combat it - this isn't medical advice. It's simply what I know works for me.

I don't know if it's mold, pollution, the weather (I went from winter to summer) or what, but I have a splitting headache, runny nose and am losing my voice.
Nutrition
- Stay on top of it. Not cutting calories at this point. I might add some fasting in for AMPK stimulus.
- Opting for some grapefruit for the high vitamin c. Adding lemon to my electrolytes in the morning.
- More water. Ideally more electrolytes, too, but I only brought so much with me.
- Chew raw garlic, because the allicin
- Ginger tea (if you have it)

Training
- Nothing to failure. The goal is simply to maintain strength and get a sweat.

Supplements
- 2-3x vitamin D and Glutamine, both of which are integral to immune system support
- Could use a garlic supplement if chewing it is too intense
- Sambucol 

Lifestyle
- Trying to manage stress as best as possible
- Maximise sleep quality
- MOVE (the lymph system can't move if you're sitting down or lying in bed all day!)

Work
- Just do the damn job, lazy bum

I always try to avoid taking pain killers and so forth, because they affect gut bacteria and deplete glutathione stores. I don't want to recover from one thing, only to have to deal with another issue.
