It's Johanna, Felix is finishing the next batch of Legendary Goblins and they are looking great, I saw that he is sculpting some spectacular wolves (and multi-component, sshhh). They will be available shortly.
We wanted to inform you of the plans we have prepared for the Avatars of War Patreon during the month of August.
During August we would like to start sculpting the releases for the next few months, so for this August, the Avatars Patreon will offer some fantastic AoW Legendary Heroes from the Avatars of War current catalogue so that, although we do not sculpt anything new, you can have a wonderful summer time printing painting and decorating your cabinets or battlefields with them.
In September we will return with renewed strength to offer you the most Iconic and Legendary New Heroes of every army.
Here's a preview of what will be available in August.
- The fantastic and legendary Ogre Berseker. Sculpted by Felix Paniagua.
Ogre Berserkers have adopted the style of combat and looks of the Berserker lore, fighting with even more frenzy and more viciously than the rest of Ogres, and shaving their heads except for the characteristic Berserker mohican in the center.
- The spectacular Hydromancer, Sculpted by Benjamin Maillet.
These sorcerers are capable of manipulating the water present in the atmosphere to launch devastating attacks on their enemies or impenetrable shields with which they will protect their companions.
- The "lovely" Midwife of Pestilence. Sculpted by Felix Paniagua.
The Midwives of Pestilence are in charge of preparing the way for all kinds of spawns and offspring of the Pestilence to the physical world.
These Demons ensure that the Portals of Conception are always open and in good condition, and will accompany the "newborns" once they arrive in our world through these ill portals.
We will make again available to the two fantastic barbarians that we already offered months ago, not available anywhere else in its digital format, and that many of you do not have.
- THE BARBARIAN MERCENARY WITH PAIRED WEAPONS. Sculpted by Benjamin Maillet
Barbarian Mercenaries are regularly recruited by the armies of the Empire. Quite often, Barbarians from the Northern steppes will offer their services as soldiers, in exchange for gold, action and, most importantly, one of those safe-conducts to freely move across the Empire.
- The BARBARIAN MARAUDER WARLORD. Sculpted by Russ Charles
Many are the tribes of barbarians who succumb to the false promises of the Dark Gods.
One Barbarian Warlord in your army will ensure that the bulk of your horde is more efficiently commanded in battle.
In addition to these five models, we will most probably add some other stuff during August (we'll choose them on the fly, so we can't advance what it will be now).
Let's enjoy the summer together, we are looking forward to these Legendary Heroes printed and painted by you.
Remember that they will only be available during the month of August!

As always I hope you have fun sculpting whatever you desire. I would stay subbed even if you decided to do 6 months of halflings. Thank you for all your hard work.

The only thing, that makes me a bit sad is that patrons from the start already got the barbarian and marauder. Other than that Great idea. I'm looking forward to the ogre in particular!

Obviously you'd want to get community feedback, but I feel like there is room for the monthly releases to be smaller. Something like 8-10 individual hero minis and 4 multi-part trooper models would still be a lot of content for the asking price, and still pretty impressive to new patrons signing up.

Some of the items for June seemed to slip into July and now the July items seem to be slipping into August. I feel like if you guys are swamped for time and it's making the release schedule unclear, maybe you need a break or something to catch up?
