[The Archive] Tarboy: Character Drawings

As I mentioned in my latest video, the archive of my old drawings is gone.

Luckily though, I did scan some of them.

I'll be posting them up on here, as bonus rewards for those on the $5 and $10 tiers.

This batch is some of the character drawings I did for Tarboy. Very early on, I had designed him as a 2D video game character. Before he was Tarboy, he was just a rubbery stick figure guy with a disjointed head. One of his moves was to throw his head like a basketball to kill enemies. If I recall, he was inspired by single shot from the Gorillaz, Clint Eastwood video clip.

He became Tarboy, since some of my favorite movie villains were made of liquid. When I was a kid, my dad had this old truck, that he was rustproofing with tar. It's an image that stuck in my mind, this old scary looking truck, covered completely in, shiny, sticky tar. The pitch back grass beneath it, stood on end like little spikes. At least that's how I remembered it.
