To be fair, I could understand why they’d feel that way. You’re right about the expectation part. But it’s cause it seems like Vegeta’s been marketed to lose time and time again when Toriyama wrote his character. My guess is that if Vegeta is meant to be static (never actually undergo changes. BUT, in the context of winning battles) then fans feel it’s no point in him getting stronger/transformations. Just like how many Goku fans like the more serious Goku than the goofy,remissed version of Goku. Which would explain partially why ppl probably LOVED Goku black/manga Goku. But I’m just guessing here so I could be wrong. BUT unreal has given Vegeta some W’s in his content so yes there does need to be patience. But I do get their worries and frustration.

I get why Vegeta fans have worries. If you think about it, Vegeta having all of this build up to barely amount to progress is what makes his fans frustrated with Toriyama. There’s been times where Goku deserved to lose just as bad as Vegeta. In the actual series Beerus has even pointed it out(inadvertently breaking the fourth wall) as far as getting TOO comfortable and TOO relaxed. But again being MC typically gives Goku the deus ex machina that otherwise no other character would get. Vegeta has had ALOT of character development but I think what makes Vegeta fans worry is that typically the development is usually on a small scale that’s more affective in the sense that he became more of a family man or not as hot headed versus him getting a huge power up just to lose. To put it in simpler terms, it seems Vegeta fans want to see his character development through him actually winning a battle independently without Goku.

The climax and expectations from vegeta's fans are priceless! Lol! Whilst I agree that vegeta has been undermined and underestimated for years just let the story playout bro... I believe that vegeta is more intelligent when it comes on to analyzing battles and his foe also his ability to adapt on the other hand Goku has a gift to ascend his power by breaking his limits simply because he is more determined to win that's the difference between the two. Respect goes to both.
