That’s why goku has lifelines, he will use one then most likely come back and fight again . He definitely isn’t going to transform and just run through everyone after . And look at ultra instinct when he fought in the last tournament, he got it .. lost it … got it again .. lost it again and we never even saw him master it till after the tournament cause he wasn’t used to the power yet

I’m hoping that’s not the case considering how long we waited for this. I believe budo hasn’t revealed his true power and will force gokus hand to adapt again rather than him losing his power. If he loses his power the match is pretty much over.

What I do think just like all transformations before , Goku will gain an upper hand at first and give budo a great fight all the way up until his transformation runs out on him because he isn’t used to it yet and hasn’t adapted to it .

His main abilities is seeing through opponents movements and knowing where they’re gonna be and strike , even with Goku primial instinct , tekira will still by able to see him , he has eyes on his forehead and abdominal and chest that’s where his true abilities lies.

Love this comment man, makes so much sense because of the level of warriors we’re talking about here but I remember Tekira saying something like “it makes sense now he has to go to the impossible to make it possible” or something like that, so I don’t know if they know as much as what you’re saying but it wouldn’t surprise me given their levels. Overall though they do appear (GM) included to be somewhat learning as the fight progresses so who knows

I feel like budo knew what he was doing the whole time. It's almost as if this whole tournament is designed to bring out Goku's inner abilities that the Grand Priest is curious about. Budo makes references to why Goku has angelic powers in the 1st place. Who's to say that the 5 Strongest haven't spoken about this matter already and then decided to test Goku to see if he is ready to take his rightful place amongst the strongest fighters in existence.
