I'm becoming a convert to the weekly release. It's been nice having both the episode and the reaction to look forward to, instead of just binging the whole thing in a few watch sessions.

2026-02-02 23:59:20 +0000 UTCWow, I didn’t analyze the episode that deeply, but yeah, you’re right. Defining a date as “two people of the opposite sex” is pretty exclusionary. Funny enough, this was actually an anime-original scene that doesn’t exist in the manga. Which brings me to the conclusion that the mangaka Kanehito Yamada writes better :D Nothing against the anime team, who is stretching the 20-22 chapters into 10 episodes. They are doing a great job! By the way, with this episode, you can read all the manga chapters to Chapter 66. Let's see if they adapt everything to Chapter 80, 81 or 82. I'm still sad, that we have to wait years for Chapter 83 - 104 :(
