It includes a deleted scene early in the movie that is very important for the arc the main character goes on (trying to be vague to avoid spoilers for who survives Alien, just in case). Even James Cameron said it should have been included in the movie but studio execs removed it.

2025-11-18 13:29:10 +0000 UTCHere's a way-too-early discussion: If they ever make it to the sequel Aliens, do they watch the theatrical release or the extended cut? I vote theatrical release as I think some of the added narratives in the extended cut aren't too polished.
