LITERALLY. Like I've watched that scene probably over 20 times, and all it takes is for him to say those words and I start literally sobbing.

2025-05-24 23:43:14 +0000 UTCMonster is so great. I still don't understand why Netflix didn't try a Live Action adaptation yet. It would be the cheapest Live Action adaptation in history. No magic, no big fantasy world, just really simple locations like hospitals, streets and forests. The dialogue from Urasawa is so less anime-like you could just adapt it 1:1 and it would feel perfect.

It’s like if you took the heart of frieren and the darkness of death note and mixed them together with a level of writing that in my opinion is up there with AOT and Breaking Bad. Don’t take my word for it though cause I don’t want to give any unreachable expectations. Also this was such a great episode!

I love the understanding you have of the characters and the themes of the story -- immediately noticing that the final point is the reverse of Karasuno's loss against Seijoh and that Hinata and Kageyama reject Inarizaki's motto by being built by their past experiences and using them to pull out a win in the eleventh hour. I think this is my favorite ending to a match just because of how poetic it is.
