i’ll post the edited reaction tomorrow

The Sopranos 5x10 Full Reaction

Comments

Idk if y’all started S6 yet, but pay close attention to the opening montage in episode 1. Then once you’re done with the entire season, go back to it. It will all make sense, and kind of spells it out for you.

Clause

Why’s that?

Jesse S

@Jesse, I'm saying July 14th is the soonest Andor S1 will start on this channel

Isaac

That's how it feels to sync up the full reactions lol

Isaac

Its like judging a shark for being a shark. If you are going to apply real world standards to a show like Sopranos you are going to severely dimmish your enjoyment. Obviously he's a piece of shit if he did these things in real life. But its a tv show, there is context there...

Farbod

Long Term Parking comin' up fast!

Skate Eight

Fair enough. I agree!

Joe Lazarus

Honestly to be fair, by now it's mainly just Lola who's always itching to criticize Tony and is always acting personally offended lol. Milena has been way more reasonable in these past few seasons.

Gaboxxy

I can't completely agree because some of his most sympathetic moments are actually between season 4 and 6, it's just that some of his worst moments are also in these seasons. Even in season 6, as much as people like to talk about how horrible he is there (and with cause, don't get me wrong), he also has some of his most human moments in that season. Of course I can't get into details without spoiling.

Wish it was on Spotify

Tony doesn't just behaves despicably....he's a despicable person, period lol I just find it funny how personal these two reactors take it. But I love it...it just shows us that they're very engaged with the show. Even though Tony may have his "good" moments.. the creator David Chase didn't want the viewers to LOVE or HATE Tony, he wanted us to have complexed feelings about him and most of us do. There are times we like Tony and times we can't stand him. Kudos to the writers and James Gandolfini for executing this.

Joe Lazarus

the first thing i thought about when she mentioned how much she loved living on a thin line. I hope she’s listened to more kinks by now.

cheech

btw the ending song is the live version of Im Not Like Everybody Else, which imo is much better than the studio version

Saw Sonex

Well, he behaves in a despicable way, so I honestly share that reaction. Being surrounded by other despicable people doesn't make him more morally acceptable. I'm watching for the first time, and it's great how, despite those behaviors, the writing and the actor's performance manage to keep us so connected to the character

RubénMO

I remember seeing someone swap out the next scene with a shot from Star Wars lol. It's a similar transition, only with an added pause.

Mark M

It’s nothing like any Star Wars that’s ever been made, by either Lucas or Disney. It’s just incredible story telling/television with some of the highest production value and writing that I’ve ever seen.

Jesse S

Honestly it's so hilarious to me how Tony makes them react. Especially Lola, if Tony even breathes a certain way she's already rolling her eyes and it cracks me up!

BND

I haven't watched it just because of the way Disney has fucked up Star Wars and I'm tired of being disappointed, but I keep hearing good things about this show, I might give it a shot.

BND

It’s fitting, considering they have a song with her name on it.

IanJ

great reaction as always from the best. ❤️😊

robert klein

When an oscar nominated experimental film director (Mike Figgis) comes and directs a TV episode lmao. Even though I also find that transition funny (especially seing other people react to it for the first time makes it even funnier lol), I personally love that directors try different things. Sopranos was like a sandbox for writers/directors at the time.

enchantertim

Car seats not having the head is a TV thing so it doesn't get in the way of the camera

robert klein

A big +1 for Andor. I am confident they would like it.

Clay F

Seems Lola is a Kinks fan in waiting. After discovering "Living on a thin line" from the Tracee episode, she also likes "I'm not like everybody else" when heard here.

Abacus

The Sopranos is the funniest and saddest show to ever exist at the exact same time.

1920sBuffaloGuy

Nah it’s in April 22nd

Jesse S

July 14th

Isaac

the barking of the dog and police siren were intentionally so loud to see if any of the Sopranos siblings would get mad.

Rok Zupan

Sopranos is the only show so far whose editing got me to check if there's something wrong with my laptop.

IanJ

Andor season 2 is coming soon if yall wanna watch season 1 it’s so good

Jesse S

I just saw that Carmela transition brought up on twitter recently and it killed me

mundanelotus

He really is so unlikeable atp

Bxb

I only watch now to see Tony get under their skin 🤣
