Her ability to use other people’s magic is definitely an interesting character beat given her personality presented so far. From how I understand her character so far in the show, I fell in line with Lola’s initial idea that she empathizes more on an understanding level rather than a feeling and caring level (sympathy). Land even mentions that she uses magic based on feel rather than knowledge, but I take that as more of an instinctive thing rather than an emotional way. Also her ability to copy other spells seems like a bonus trait, her primary magic of choice (or maybe nature) is still to cut and slice . And like she mentioned to Wirbel, I think that still reflects her the most. Hence her disposition to “torment” others (attacking the eyes of Wirbel and her clone taking fake Land’s bottle rather than just killing it). More backstory for her would definitely be interesting, although that’s true for almost every named character introduced in Frieren

If you girls actually rewatched the whole show or even just the first 4 episodes again you wouldn’t be able to see the screen, Such a beautiful show. It’s number 1 on MAL for a reason.

They are the best episodes of this arc in my opinion and fit perfectly together. It would make for the best experience. Also fern is the cutest angry character ive ever seen
