The plot and characters are amazing, and I’m sure they’ll love it too, especially MaoMao, as she’s one of the smartest and best-written female characters ever, without a doubt. It’s also a work written by a woman, and I’m sure LM will resonate with the social issues it explores, particularly the struggles of women throughout history. However, it’s not a short show; it’s an unfinished, long-running series with several seasons to come. Given the success it’s having, I’m certain of that. It doesn’t seem fair to use the short anime slot for another unfinished show, especially since they usually prefer completed series. They already have Vinland Saga Season 3 and Frieren Season 2 waiting for that spot. If they also include The Apothecary Diaries, they won’t have the opportunity to react to more short anime. Perhaps it’s better to be patient and to include The Apothecary Diaries in the long anime poll after Monster. By the time they finish Monster, The Apothecary Diaries will likely be on Season 3. And please Milena and Lola, I hope you can keep this show in your radar for the future because this is one of the best and it's perfect for you
