The manga are 10 times better imo i personally was a bit bored with the movie but the manga is a beautiful saga. It would have been amazing as a short show, a movie can't adapt well a saga of 7 or 8? Manga.

And about Godfather they don't seem to be against it at all in their sopranos reaction + lot of people are asking for it so if they ever react to movies for real they'll watch it i think.

2024-10-14 06:08:00 +0000 UTCi'm so happy you guys root for Aoba Johsai too. they're my favorite team on the show, super good and super deserving, and the characters on the team are all so compelling. Especially Oikawa, Iwaizumi, Kindaichi and Kunimi right now, but every single one gets something. I do love Karasuno too though, and it is super sad to see them all beat themselves up over the loss and cry like that. i cannot wait for next episode! <3

Can't wait to experience this show to the end, again, but this time, through these two damn great creators.

2024-10-14 01:10:04 +0000 UTCNothing breaks my heart more than seeing those boys crying while eating!!!!! But I loved the part where Takeda Sensei talks to our boys about how to take a loss. It rings so true in any situation not just sports, it's a life lesson that will stay with the boys. Even though he looks like a high schooler (lol), this is where you see that he is a true teacher. What's also interesting to me is how Kindaichi (Kageyama's old middle school teammate) DID NOT look all to happy to see Kageyama lose, what's interesting about it is that one part about the middle school incident that a lot of people overlook or doesn't talk about much is Kindaichi's guilt over leaving Kageyama alone on the court, even though he was right to take a stand against Kageyama, apart of him did want to play WITH Kageyama. But he also wanted to show Kageyama up and make him regret treating him the way he did, but then he actually beat Kageyama and the victory didn't feel nearly as good as he wanted it too. Such an interesting dynamic that I wish was delved into much more between the two of them, also his jealousy toward Hinata for being able to handle Kageyama's tosses, and being his partner, all so good.
