2024-10-05 18:25:47 +0000 UTCOne thing I love in this episode: Sein chooses to trust in Heiter, who said he always trusted in Frieren's words. I love hearing again and again how everyone trusts and believes in Himmel but it's so nice to see someone actively making the choice to trust in Heiter. I'd forgotten about that as it happens in the first half which, as good as it is, gets almost completely overshadowed in my memory by the second half lol

2024-10-05 18:15:17 +0000 UTCEvery time Stark tries to be nice to Fern she responds very negatively, even if he's just asking her if she wants to join him for some food. That's why he said that he wanted to buy Fern's birthday present together with her, but he thought she'd get mad at him if he said that. So Stark can't even figure out how to ask her to have tea with him without being attacked in some way. He might like her, but there's such a mess of immature hostility coming his way from Fern that navigating her conversational minefield takes up so much of his focus that I don't think he would even find the breathing space to realise it if he was in love with her... well... probably not until he's already *compoletely* in love with her will he realise it... I hope so anyway. I love the two of them so much but, you're right, they're both still kids in so many ways. They get in their own way as much as each other's. Hopefully, one day they will both just know and we can all celebrate.

2024-10-05 07:39:08 +0000 UTCI never really saw Fern as being more mature at all. She's just punctual and reserved so it seems like it at a distance. There was just an offhand joke about her feeling like Frieren's mother in one episode so everyone ran with that as if it was absolute truth. She pouts all the time, gets jealous, kicks people and fusses when she doesn't get her way, is awkward and has trouble admitting when she's wrong, calls people perverts for no reason despite being the only person who did something explicitly perverted. She's incredibly childish, it just presents differently than the innocence that makes Stark also seems childish.

2024-10-05 05:11:35 +0000 UTCI hate to be the person who points something like this out, and maybe you've heard it before, but during the scene with Himmel kneeling and presenting the ring to the Frieren the only thing between them in the shot is the clock tower, representing time being the thing keeping them apart. So thats 'fun' :)

Someone in the group needs the certificate so they can be allowed to keep going further up.

But the Patreon members here also know that some scenes or concepts in that genre make you uncomfortable definitely lol. However, recent romance manga have changed It's tastes gradually and some of them already got anime adaptation announce or on the air. So I hope someday you gonna give it a try.

It's definitely an horror masterpiece and maybe one of the best horror works of the last decade on any media . Or maybe will be too cruel to you to make you watch Uzumaki after Fieren even if it's only 4 episodes. Another good show is The Apothecary Diaries, maybe you will love that show. It has an awesome and smart female lead character and has several mysteries and plot twist. And It's time for a shoujo! Or maybe is the time to give opportunity to a more older show finally like Cowboy Bebop or Steinsg;Gate

2024-10-04 23:17:58 +0000 UTCThe animation team flexed this episode. In the manga, the dance scene isn't even one page, it's more like a small panel, but we did get a nice color cover page of it as well. So to see it animated, I just had the biggest smile on my face the whole time.
