He, along with Nishinoya are my personal favorites but I always felt that the fandom always focused too much on Kageyama's faults so he isn't regarded as a fan favorite compared to other characters (which is ridiculous because he is just a kid like the rest) but he arguably has the best character development in the entire series. One thing I always loved about Kageyama is how respectful he is to his upperclassmen and elders in general. When he's around kids the same age as him, his words can be harsh because he sees them as on the same level as him but he appreciates and accepts wisdom and guidance from those older then him and never scoffs at it and it's precious.

The moment where Ukai asks how long Hinata and Kageyama have known each other, and then remarks that it’s cruel that they never got to grow up together is so bittersweet. As for the soundtrack, as people have said I strongly recommend just adding the whole playlist from Spotify into your rotation, seasons 1-2-3 are all on there, Yuki Hayashi the composer is a genius.

It is very amusing. He also did something similar with a high school setting, but that didn't get an anime adaptation. Attack on Titan School Castes also revisits the finale of Attack on Titan.
