The fourth egg is probably baby Viserys. None of them are pink so it looks like they’ll be giving the Nettles story to Rhaena and we won’t be getting baby dragon Morning at all 😔

Some small details I noticed from this ep:
-The barmaid that got felt up at the tavern is the same girl that got assaulted by Aegon in season 1. That Alicent paid off and gave "moon tea" (to terminate any pregnancy).
-It's a change from the books, but those eggs that were given to Rhaena are confirmed to be the same ones that Denaerys ends up with (Although there are 4 currently).
-The tree Daemon awoke in front of after his vision was a Weirwood tree. The same ones from Game of Thrones that worshipers of the Old Gods (like the Starks) prayed to. Linked to the Children of the Forest.

Taking a contingent of knights to get rid of Rhaenyra, Daemon and their children before anyone finds out that Viserys is dead is a good plan. Forcing one kingsguard to go alone to a castle on high alert is rash, and suicidal for the person going.

I do appreciate that they've finally attempted to add some layers to Cole beyond the caricature he has become since early season 1. He is remembered as such an intriguing figure in Westerosi history but the show has stripped him of most of that nuance.

Well yes S1E9 was an entirely different political situation from S2E3

Rhaenys: "Otto Hightower would never have allowed this"
Lola: "That's true it was too dumb."
Meanwhile, Otto, 4 episodes ago: "Lord Commander Westerling, take your knights to Dragonstone. Be quick and be clean."

Aegon hearing that Alicent is conspiring to rule with Aemond immediately lead to him bullying Aemond lmao. This family is not okay. It makes sense for that insecurity to be easily manipulated, Aemond has always been the “dutiful” son who Alicent preferred. Whereas Aegon was the disappointment. He feels it’s true despite Alicent and Aemond currently not being on good terms.

Loved seeing the hints of ableism (Larys being called “clubfoot”, something that probably alienated him from his family) and classism/racism (Gwayne commenting on Criston’s lowborn status + him being dornish, who are not well liked by the realm). It gives me hope for the world-building, and for the future characterization of those 2 characters.
Edit: like Gwayne disrespecting Criston and disregarding his order, pointedly saying “my NEPHEW” when referring to the king to reaffirm his imagined higher status, even though Criston has a higher status for being Lord Hand. Interesting stuff but most people don’t care because Criston has unlikable flaws.

If you want one (it might help to have a knowledge of where people are and why for example Harenhall is important strategically) here are a few different maps of westeroes and one zoomed in one on central westeroes.

At 00:52:35 ish incase you’ve forgotten in both GoT and HOTD in s1 it’s been mentioned that Harenhall is cursed and strange things happen there which makes it impossible to man the whole things because apparently servants disappear at night and other such creepy tales.
To me it seems this hinted at Harenhall being cursed might be true cus that door being slammed truly was creepy and paranormal and so was Daemon getting visions.
Just my thoughts.

Hot Aemond here we gooo.
Also poor guy getting fucking harassed by Aegon lol. Wouldn’t blame him if he’s fucking pissed at his brother now since his private space got very much intruded on.
