I can only speak from my own experience but I only watched all 10 episodes of The Treasure Chest of Courage after I watched all of season 1 and I don't think it hurts the viewing experience at all. Plus, that way you don't have to avoid certain parts of it just to avoid being spoiled for season 1. It did air completely after season 1 after all.

2024-04-27 23:03:56 +0000 UTC@18:10 -- You are correct. The underworld portal was made out of Shadow Clan corpses. If you look closely at the portal, you'll see their eyes. So, yeah, as Domas mentioned, the clan was exploited even after death.
