2023-11-10 04:06:03 +0000 UTCSeason 5 is my favorite. After covid I got into writing and politics since I was unemployed. I just like how the news and media reported and debated topics. Another aspect is this is pre-social media. The internet is prevalent around this time and YouTube and Facebook are the only popular sites. The dot com boom is now a bust in Silicon Valley and the first iphone is introduced. We start to learn how online media took the place of newspapers and tv consumption.

It's in black and white in the first four seasons. A nice little detail to show the progression of technology π

I know not everyone is a fan of Season 5 but personally I'd put it above Season 3 enjoyment wise. I was about to start into their 4x13 review, I haven't even TOUCHED the AoT review yet because I didn't expect it for another day or two, but screw it, I'm gonna watch this right now.
