The final shot is PERFECT 500,000 homeless people 17 million vacant homes owned by banks and corporations Anyone arguing that capitalism isn’t the root of poverty is uninformed, we know people like Bubs or Rashad are victims of a society that doesn’t care about them but the wealthy hoarding property is directly affecting them So fitting that these vacant buildings that aren’t housing people are used to hide dead bodies

Then go to the console tab in the new window that popped up and copy paste this into the input box at the bottom: document.querySelector('video').playbackRate = 0.95910 and hit enter. After that you can close the inspect window. Now it should stay in sync. If you're on mobile I don't know how it can be fixed.

In the window that pops up, look for a button called Console. The Console window should have an input box at the bottom. Paste it there and hit Enter. You will know you have done it correctly when the next line reads 0.9591.

2023-10-27 05:32:57 +0000 UTCIt's worth noting that while Herc DID fuck up, a hearty "fuck you" can also go to the other homicide cop who was beefing with Bunk, and threw away Carver's message. If he had done his job, Bunk would have been expecting Herc to contact him, and would almost certainly have followed up (that doesn't excuse Herc letting it slip that Randy snitched)

So many moving pieces on the board now and the way this show manages to bring it all together with all these story lines that are separate yet also so very connected is magical. Don't have time to run through everything now but damn did Herc drop the bag on this one. He's so dumb and short sighted it hurts but he's an important character because it does show what an effect one incompetent cop can have let alone the systematic failure of the whole department. Also unrelated but if you ever decide to react to movies can I suggest Moonlight? Absolutely beautiful (although at times tough to watch) film that has a bit in common with The Wire and I think you two would love it

Good contrast to the absolutely trash interrogation Herc did on Little Kevin that was so bad it made Sydnor leave the room
