One of these days we will get to listen to the full outro

My Toasty Toast

Don’t forget the OVA before episode 5! It really helps bridge the story and is honestly one of my favorites of the entire show, I’m loving these reactions

Delta172

Yall are so needy lmao

Gabriel Barott

Now I understand why the wire watchers get so mad when you comment this lmao

Salvatore

Agree completely on the ending song. Hope you guys continue with the HxH credits after the GI tutorials stop, as the last few outro songs for it are certified classics.

Yeah god I hate when streaming services wanna autoplay the next episode, especially with things that are really moving and have beautiful ending songs. But yeah I love this episode. This sort of family strife where everyone has good intentions really hits for me. On another note, I've set it before but y'all should really consider Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. It's already one of the most beautiful fantasy stories I've seen. It's also from the same director as Bocchi the Rock, which I'm sure you've heard suggested at this point and is also wonderful. And again, both female protagonists.

Payam Sharifi

Wait really? I 100% teared up during this episode, but yeah I'd say the same for a majority of the episodes. Really moving show.

Payam Sharifi

I love shows that take place in the early 1900s, such a lovely show, as always thanks for the upload 🙏🏻

Sergeant Jay

I actually totally agree with you at the end of the episode about how you like to let the ending playout. This show especially it always hits hard.

Reddd Hunter

I have no idea why it's an OVA and not a regular episode part of the series. It's an important episode for her development and is really good in its story too.

ODIS

Episode 5 I can see why it would be controversial. Personally for me, since its a tv show and we can see both sides' feelings and stuff, I kind of give a pass to these things. Sometimes lol. Obviously irl is different

Danny

Violet the best snitch XD

Danny

Episode 5 is the controversial one. It's not a bad episode, but one aspect had sparked a little controversy that I can relate to. Oh, and the OVA special has pretty good ratings and stands above many other episodes in Violet Evergarden.

I won’t be able to see this episode until Wednesday, I’m looking forward to it and the next violet reaction will be even closer once I do

My Toasty Toast

I’m surprised this was the lowest rated episode and not the next one (excluding the OVA)

My Toasty Toast

I advocate for A Place Further Than the Universe and Frieren. Also, what episode was the controversial one? Nothing really comes to mind that would elicit controversy.

Komikall

Girls don't forget to watch the OVA special before episode 5. It ties well into the story and gives the extra character development. Also, it's a solid episode.

ODIS

Fun Fact: This was the lowest rated episode of Violet Evergarden. For most, all the other episodes were better, even the very controversial episode that is still to come. Next up, though, is the OVA. I'm really looking forward to that! And I just think it's awesome how they're excited about having so many female characters on the show. For the show after Ranking of Kings, we really need to push another show with female main characters, be it Anya in Spy x Family or the crew in A Place Further Than the Universe or Hitori in Bocchi the Rock or Emma in The Promised Neverlands or Frieren in Frieren :D

Loving the reactions to this series so far! It really does help balance out the Wire! Before episode 5 you should watch the 30ish minute "Special Episode" from 2018, it's provides context for episode 5 and honestly should have been a regular episode to begin with

Jason Parker

Thanks for writing the first comment pertinent to the actual post in question

AE

I never see people tear up on this episode. It's really nice to see you guys get so attached to the story and the characters. Thanks for the video, I'm very excited for the next one!

Wheres HxH

Max__

hey girls, nothing to do with this but i wamted to let you know that the latest mike flanagan's show 'the fall of the house of usher' is already available on netflix and it's as good as i expected. many familiar faces from hill house, bly manor and midnight mass and if it may catch your interest (i think it will) mary mcdonnell, from battlestar galactica has a major role in it. maybe you could consider it after the bear. as all his shows, it's a short one.

sand_fl

HxH tonight?
