Additionally, it offers a critical perspective on the darkside of social networks and entertainment industry. It's only 11 episodes.

They’d be more excited to know that the Bailyhams are in it considering how much they love FMA:B and especially how much they loved Roy. I would love for them to react to it. They might be more likely when there’s more news on S3 as they hate big waits between them.

2023-10-03 22:09:44 +0000 UTCThe anime will likely add some things for clarification (as some leakers said), but the ending won't change. Maybe those new chapters are the things that are being added. Either way, I think this ending is definitive (the anime one), and if anything new is added, it will be unrelated to it. Maybe something new envolving the world of aot is a possibility. I doubt it because its a short thing, but we'll have to see. I loved the ending, i think it was honest to what Isayama was saying the entire show. Some people criticize the ending for lacking clarification, but I think anime-only fans will love it with the new additions (they would have loved it anyway). Manga readers are often more annoying and critical of everything, and they would complain about the ending no matter what, just like they did with previous chapters, and the adaptation had a totally different reception.

2023-10-03 21:14:30 +0000 UTC@Antonio That's why I like the Melius Rewrite V2. It stays very true to the original ending and just tries to clean up the dialogue. There are so many fan-written versions for the final chapters, it's creepy. What I still follow closely is Usurper, but because the team is far smaller than it was in the beginning, it takes forever for more rewritten chapters to be released. And No Requiem has interesting dialogue and the ending itself could be really good in its own way, but time and time again it feels very out of character and cringe. 😅

2023-10-03 20:33:46 +0000 UTCThis is not a rewrite, it was all planned in advance. The series is insanely popular and thus any ending you give it will (a) get spoiled and (b) get critiqued endlessly. The obvious strategy here is to release the ending of the manga and the corresponding anime at the same time. The form the future anime will take will be a full theater release. It is also likely they will bring back WIT Studio as the animators for this upcoming movie. So why the fake ending? Movies take time to make. The purpose of the fake ending is to simultaneously buy time and keep the hype going. Also don't expect just a couple of pages but a full volume. Those couple of pages which are mentioned will only tie the current ending to the new volume. The fact that something they kept foreshadowing since season 1 has zero payoff should have been a dead giveaway that the manga has a fake ending.

As an Anime-only, I've always tried to ignore the manga readers crying about the ending and just assumed they were mostly the type of people that think Eren should 'win' and I assume he probably won't (similar to how there are DN fans that thought Light should have won). I got really disappointed when I saw a title of a YT vid 'Isayama apologies to fans for AoT ending' , so I'm glad to hear you say that the ending is fine with dialogue just being iffy because I literally wouldn't try to discuss this on any forum b/c I dont trust manga readers at all to not be annoying.

After Chapter 137 - 139, Isayama unfortunately experienced so much hate, which is why he withdrew from the public eye and doubted his abilities. In the anime NYC stage almost two years after the finale, he seemed so insecure. It broke my heart. No matter how bad an ending is for you now, but hate doesn't work at all. Criticism for plotholes and plot decisions gladly, but nice!

Like I get some people don’t like the ending(including myself) but he should just leave it alone at this point. But hey… I can’t for people to react to AoT: New Generation or some shit lol

2023-10-03 15:14:11 +0000 UTCI just want to share that Attack on Titan: Season 4 - The Final Season - Part 3 - The Final Part: Special 2: The Final Chapters II is NOT the last part of Attack on Titan. Isayama has decided to release another "chapter" next year in April. I know that the finale is controversial, that it has many problems, and that I personally can only be satisfied with the Melius Rewrite V2 (https://imgur.com/a/AqkaJBd), but if this is not a rewrite in April, but another "even more" like the 8 extra pages, I will go insane. The ending itself was completely fine, only the dialogue was a bit bumpy... Someone should tell the people behind this decision that a franchise can also be ruined by a never-ending finale. 😫
