This was a quite enjoyable episode. My first time watching Hxh I skipped past some of the episodes in this arc but rewatching I appreciate the wholesomeness of this arc and the longitudinal aspect of the main characters training process. Iβm bit late for the comment section because I have been preoccupied with with college but itβs still nice to stop by :)

I'm paraphrasing because I couldn't find the scene on youtube but he said that Gon isn't bothered by good and evil, he views everything with pure curiosity. Saying Gon got upset with the troupe because they went against his naive notions of good and evil doesn't add up with Zepiles analysis.

Villains are supposed to be bad and heroes are supposed to be good, he wasnβt upset with Binolt because Binolt gave up after being defeated and serving his purpose Also I think Gingβs Nen is so strong because heβs true to his desires (not being a dad but following personal interests) his will to be a Hunter (a person who follows his dreams) is stronger than anyone

2023-09-09 02:27:59 +0000 UTCWhile I do think its a bit early to make these arguments, I do tend to agree though not with the hypocrisy(in this case) but more with the skewed priorities. I think a lot of Gonβs emotional intelligence is actually intuition, which make counter intuitive situations real bad.

2023-09-09 01:42:15 +0000 UTCI agree. Scissor hands showed actual regret, Nobunaga showed hypocrisy. I don't think the being kidnapped thing affected Gon's opinion at all. They were going against eachother and they got caught so fair game. Also it's not like kidnapping is worse than murder.

2023-09-09 01:09:40 +0000 UTCOr it's just the difference between how he treats people who currently have him kidnapped vs someone surrendering asking Gon to kill him, then tells Gon he's going to turn himself in for his crimes. Also Gon got angry because Nobunaga showed they were capable of empathy but still killed without remorse not simply because they were killers

2023-09-08 23:28:54 +0000 UTCit was actually the serbian dub for mew mew power but everything else iβve watched was english dub, we had this channel in serbia Jetix, i dont know who owns it but all the animes ive watched when i was younger was on that channel and at some point it stopped existing and that was a sad day

Seeing how you also watched Shaman King, I guess all Eastern European kids experienced the same animes growing up. Others from my childhood I remember were Inuyasha, Paradise Kiss, Kaleido Star and Yu Gi Oh GX. I feel a bond with you now haha
