2023-08-05 22:16:27 +0000 UTCto me it's hard to rank them, I like GI for the worldbuilding and for 2 other things that I don't want to spoil. I wouldn't put it under Heavens Arena. Yes I was capping about YNC, I love this arc, it's incredibly cool but I prefer EA for personal reasons

This is now a ranking thread 1 CA 2 YNC 3 EA 4 Exam/Zoldyck, 5 Heavens Arena (Nen, Hisoka v Gon, Machi) 6 GI (A pretty cool biscuit)

So after they get done with the next 6 episodes, I'm done following the reactions till they get done with the show and just freely watch the highlights.

Meteor city is so tribal and revenge oriented that he would be hounded the rest of his life by meteor city residents. 31 of these people suicide bombed themselves to kill 31 people that they felt wronged 1 person from Meteor. That 1 dude was just a nameless bum. The Phantom Troupe are basically heroes for their hometown. These people don’t give a shit about death, only the collective. It doesn’t matter if the person was a stranger to them, they’ll get revenge no matter what. I think it’s called third-party punishment, but I need to read more about it. Anyways, the scope of the issue is just way larger than Kurapika and the Spiders. You got the worlds largest insular tribe to compete and coexist with. 1500 years of history with millions living in a horrific squalor that was originally an internment camp. These people are an unfortunate offshoot of humanity and they need to be reintegrated or it’ll get worse.
