2023-06-26 00:15:22 +0000 UTCYeah, I think people just get confused because Gon and Killua refer to the whole event as the auction (but they are only going to the normal one) while Kurapika also refers to it as the auction even though he's focused on the mafia one. (at least that is part of the main reason it happens)

2023-06-25 23:46:42 +0000 UTCFor anyone curious: there is the underground auction that is run by the mafia (It has the messed up stuff like the eyeballs of the Kurta) and the regular auction (where the less messed up stuff is: things like videogames such as Greed Island). I believe the mafia one starts basically the 5 days before September 6th and the normal one from the 6th-10th. So basically Kurapika working for the Nostrade Family basically just did not get the works hours to meet with the boys. Even if his focus wasn't completely on the potential attack.

Edit: Now that I think about it, it's doesn't really need that. There's the underground one for illegal stuff like mummies and eyeballs and the normal one for things like video games.
