2023-06-25 09:06:44 +0000 UTCSPOILER!!!!!! For me CA was kind of slog till 114. Once they invade palace things again started to pick up pace and show became enjoyable. Hxh writes some characters really well and others no so much. Characters break down, crumble under pressure without foreshadowing or without any prior info, simply for sake of twist and to put forth an admirable image of protagonists of series. It happened with 4 characters in CA and felt overused. Imo togashi should have gone full seinen mode in it to explore themes. It is on border of being seinen. The dark nature of the arc does not really gel well or suit with power of friendship, love and admiration for each other. But none the less it was an enjoyable experience. CA is very good imo but it's not my favorite thing ever. Return to shigashina from AoT, Golden age from Berserk, Farmland from vinland and vagabond, promised day arc from fmab, mogumi arc from mob psycho 100, marine ford and enies lobby from one piece are some of my favorites.

CA also introduces arguably the best written character of the show and the arc has an immensely satisfying conclusion. It is definetely not downhill after this arc

Although, given how much the girls love the relationship between Gon and Killua, and are watching just two episodes a week, I don't think they'll get burnt out.

As for Annie being based on Pakunoda, I'd say that it's also plausible, at least the character design. I feel like Kurapika/Armin might be more of a coincidence though, they both are very analytical, but I think that character design isn't that uncommon

Lm have a different style. We like listening to their theories, their speculations, their wish, their take alongwith the reaction. if they start watching 2 episodes together, their editing time increases and discussion time increases too. Right now they try to keep discussion 1hour long at max, with your approach every video will be more than hour. It will add significant burden on girls to trim it all down and condense to 1 hour. And lets say they start going according entitled hxh fans, will you be willing to shell extra money for the extra effort they put in? Put money where your mouth is. And then girls might consider your proposal. And remember it's just proposal. They are under no obligation to accept it. Hxh will continue for next 12 months. Accept it. Live with it.

They're only 20 minutes long, whereas shows like The Wire are nearly 3 times the length, and you still release 2 episodes a week for that. So little happens in 1 of these episodes that you could just watch 2 maybe even 3 episodes back to back and do 1 single discussion at the end and 1 at the beginning. I would guess most viewers would prefer it this way.

And so is saying they don't have groups. None of that info has an impact on the story, nor is it a plot point. And they definitely are a pair. Saying they're not is like saying Gon and Kill aren't. Just cause they're not literally glued at the hip doesn't not make them a pair.
