A “Buy Bust” is an operation where an officer undercover buys drugs leading to an arrest. You guys were spot on Love how the only reason they get the surveillance vehicle is because Pryzbylewski (the officer who blinded the young boy) happens to be the son in law of the police department commissioner who feels indebted to Daniels for protecting Pryz from punishment… literally rewarded for doing awful things

Within the culture of the police (like many gangs) if an officer is hurt or struck or attacked or even insulted in any way it is expected that their fellow officers will step in and “punish” the person who did it, teenager or not

Which is why I never felt bad for loving the characters who were in the drug business and I often rooted for them more than the cops, but both sides does some pretty horrible stuff.
