I’m just as much of a TV/Film buff as Sam Esmail so I’m happy to say that I thankfully understood like 99% of the references to other TV shows and movies in this show. Also not to burst your bubble but you’re wrong about the song in the middle of the episode. Joey Bada$$ is a good artist and I like his music but the hip hop song in this episode playing in Leon’s car was not his. The song playing was ‘Moment of Truth’ by Gangstarr. Gangstarr aka Guru is one of the most beloved and influential and incredible rappers to ever live and I was so stoked to hear this song make an appearence in this show. No surprised that Leon/Sam are Gangstarr fans 😎

2023-02-22 14:27:19 +0000 UTCI grew up with Knight Rider although I was very young and don't really remember the specifics, I was also one of the 6 people who watched the original run of the reboot in 2008 which I have fond memories of but don't remember the specifics - before it got the Firefly treatment. Producers: retain the rights to your show in the case where the network bins it so you can take it elsewhere. Frasier I never got into though I remember seeing an episode or two, I did watch a lot of Cheers as a kid though, for reasons I don't understand, though I suspect looking back it may have been reruns.

2023-02-20 04:06:34 +0000 UTCI think we should technically be up to the Season finale by now given the delays in between episodes, and that these are filmed quite a while ago now (e.g they filmed episode 6/7 the same day) and averaging 24-48 hours extra in between episodes from Season 3 - (e.g 2 episodes per week / ends up 1 episode every 4-5 days) - we're well off track in terms of the timeline
