A quick thought
Added 2020-08-23 14:03:07 +0000 UTCHey guys, my goal and agreement with you all has always been to upload at least one story or piece of art per month. Creativity can't be rushed and if I HAD to do more, my inspiration would quickly evaporate.
I do TRY to do more, just to thank you for your kind support, and sometimes I feel guilty if I fail. Then something occurred to me.
When I started this Patreon back in the tumblr days, my average story length was 4 pages. Now it's 8, and my latest (Flicked) was 13 pages long). Not only do you get longer stories, but I'd like to think that I'm a better writer now than I was, drilling down into the essence of what makes an enjoyable story. Judging by the kind emails and comments I receive, lots of you agree too.
I don't know if I'm flattering myself, but I like to think I have an unusual style, and have carved out a great little community of supporters and like minds.
Your support is everything to me - literally the fuel that powers my writing. I write because I love the subject matter, but knowing that it also puts food on the table keeps me disciplined and focussed.
