Hey, just joined the Patreon so i could continue binging your Legend of Korra and AoT videos haha, loved your reactions to the finale. can't wait to see your full feedback and thoughts too. For me, this final episode feels super rushed, and I wish they'd explored Korra with only Airbending for a lot longer, but being constrained to only a few episodes, I know they had to try and wrap everything up. I can't wait to see you react to the next three seasons though. Those are much more continuous and slower paced.

2021-06-04 01:37:09 +0000 UTCWhy does it need to mean something? We praise tragedy, and when we realize that things can be resolved, we scoff at it? Not every moment needs to be this. We can appreciate happy endings too every now and then. Also, this is a Nickelodeon show at the end of the day, so I'm not sure what you're expecting. Plenty of animes out there already to give you tragedy. This can balance those out a bit. "Somehow Tenzin got captured..." The runtime is only 23mins. Just cause the writers didn't show it (because of time constraints), doesn't mean they didn't come up with how it happened.

2021-06-04 00:38:50 +0000 UTCI’ll never get over how Mako could break out of bloodbending, and could functionally get up and fire bend right after.. Aang couldn’t even do that without the Avatar State. He’s crazy talented it’s insane. Korra learning airbending at that scene was so perfect as well, she tried basically all season to unlock it and it was in this moment she unlocks it because she’s trying to save someone she cares about. Literal chills when the past lives showed up as well. Loved this finale, great reaction!

2021-06-03 19:59:25 +0000 UTCThat is not at all how that scene works, it was about Lin proving who she is as a character. She was willing to lose her identity and her life to save Tenzin and his family. Her getting her bending back doesn't change that at all.
