This is an updated version of the mod by SHUSHU that I use in my own game and wanted to update for the new world introduced in Cottage Living. Unfortunately, SHUSHU is no longer modding for the The Sims 4, but her mods are available for other modders to pick up and update. 

Update 12/11/21

• Fixed an issue that allowed Sims from other worlds to show up in Henford-on-Bagley to serve as "Gossipers" as part of a quest
• Added new filters to spa employees

• Fixed an issue that would prevent yoga instructors from teaching class in the new Spa Day refresh.

• Fixed an issue that would prevent apartment landlords from appearing when called to repair problems in apartments with the Needs TLC trait.

• Fixed an issue that would prevent the Crumplebottoms and other Finchwick Village NPCs from appearing in the world.

• Fixed an error that would occur for players without Spa Day, Get Together, or City Living installed.

This mod limits walkby Sims and visitors on a lot to those living in that world (i.e. only Willow Creek residents will show up at Willow Creek venues, only Sims that live in San Myshuno will appear as vendors/bartenders/etc. in San Myshuno).

Certain situations are exempt from this, where it would make sense for Sims to be traveling or for gameplay reasons (e.g. festivals, tourists, retail venues, restaurants).

Note: If there are not enough Sims in the world to fill a necessary role, the game will automatically generate homeless Sims who live in that world. Sims generated this way will remember their world, and will keep showing up there. Homeless sims will not get generated infinitely, but this mod will very likely increase the population in your save file.

This mod isn't likely to conflict with other mods because of how SHUSHU designed the script. There are no direct overrides.

Install instructions

Extract the files from the zip archive. Add the package and ts4script file to your Sims 4 Mods folder or a subfolder which is only one deep. 

Requirements

This mod only requires the Base Game.
