new mini-mod: front desk
Added 2021-07-15 02:16:41 +0000 UTCI'd had this mod half done for a while, but didn't pursue completing it because it was working well enough for my purposes and other creators had published their own Front Desk/Receptionist mods so I didn't feel the need. I've been told recently that SHUSHU's mod was broken by this latest patch, so I looked into finishing mine and making it available to the public.
This is a simple mod that allows you to add a front desk receptionist to any community lot. To do so, just plop down a "THE Front Desk" object on the lot and place a computer and office chair in its slots. As long as the objects are in place, a receptionist will show up between 9 AM and 5 PM to handle the front desk duties like answer the phone and call Sims over the PA system.

Also I've been getting two sims from one household, and just recently went to a lot and there were four receptionists. So I think I am getting too many too. Should be just one?

2022-10-15 18:08:06 +0000 UTCthis mod spawns a particular sim (actually two sims from one household) as the receptionists. I really don't want the receptionists to be these sims since they are played sims with other careers etc. Can we get an npc sim to be the receptionist, or select one?
