Drawings - Green and Black Mask
Added 2019-03-30 15:00:06 +0000 UTCHere are the drawings for the Green Mask and Black Mask. For the green, I'm picturing the top half patina copped with Boston ferns for the beard. The metalwork is totally inspired by one of the most beautiful facades here in Chicago designed by Louis Sullivan for the Carson Pirie Scott Building in 1899. I'm thrilled to finally create something inspired by the exterior of that building.
The Black Shaman Mask has a lot of fun details and textures. I'm looking forward to painting the fur on this one. The hammered iron of the rest of the mask will be a challenge but another I'm looking forward to.And the scrunched up face makes me laugh.
Now how crazy would it be to see some of these made?

This is totally where you guys come in. If you have an idea let me know. The full art cards certainly give you an opportunity to use them for other things. When I have the opportunity I'll create two more masks. I'm glad folks are interested in them.
2019-03-31 15:53:05 +0000 UTCI agree, I like the look on all of them. I am interested what kind of other application they have beside the EDH commander or am I already missing something? Great regardless. :)
