I'm Deactivating My Patreon

I rather keep this as short as possible because even though I prepared for this as much as I could, it's still going to be a tedious chore to shift to a new subscription system.

Anyways, like the title blatantly states, the day has come for me to part ways with Patreon. I won't get into what led to this, seeing as I covered the majority of it in this journal, seen here.

What I will say is that they finally sent an email today about the "alternative methods" for non-government IDs. Making a long rant short, it gives a long list of documents and none of them are private pieces of information I'm willing fork over to a third party like Jumio. At the least, they want a photograph and that was enough for an automatic no from me.

Now that's out of the way, let's get onto the future. First of all, to the members who paid for services during the month of September and October, I will be refunding your money. As of writing this post, I've already covered two of you. Since I don't have enough money in my creator balance, I'm having to work some magic. Rest assured, you will have your money back soon.

So, what's next? Like I said in the journal, the same thing, but on DeviantArt. And once more, if you don't decide to follow me to there, I completely understand. I'll admit that I was pretty mad about this and I don't get like that often. I'll sum up my rant by saying that I hate capitalism.

After I get everything transferred to DA, I will make another journal about the tiers and etc. Part of the reason I'm angry is because now I have to do the tedious chore of removing my Patreon link from every single one of my stories. Thus, I most likely won't be able to write tonight and I hate it so much.

Alright, point made. Once the rest of the refunds are finalized, I will delete my Patreon on the last day of this month so that you all can at least see the development of the current story until then. Like a broken record, I do apologize for this. It's not mine or yours fault but it still sucks. I enjoyed my time on the platform yet it's time for me to go.

Thanks for the support over the years. It's been fun to get a little personal on here and I enjoyed seeing people were continually interested in my crazy stories.
