My agenda is balance & human flourishing. I believe the meaning of life is to be lived & that is the point of being alive. I am a good faith actor. We are not in a good position in America & when you are like that you can’t pass on works without the taint of your problems in everything you do. When you are handed two options it is important to note who is pointing those options out & presenting them as the only options. Think about why the options are being laid out for you. Out of an endless variety of options, you are being handed a few. I feel like it is too late to affect the presidential election, but the urgency of it brings added attention to the broken political machinations & our fractured society. So, what I’m saying is that even though it seems like we are wildly off the road, we’ve been having bad drivers on the wrong road for a long time. More than an election cycle, longer than I’ve been alive. So, one election isn’t going to unwind this mess, it’s going to take a long time. People like to act like we don’t have the time to turn things around correctly, we have to do what they say now or else. The thing is, if we don’t do it right, we need to expend the same energy unwinding what is done wrong, sometimes more. This doesn’t mean that one choice being handed to you isn’t objectively better than the other. We all have to make choices to exist in the here & now, to improve our moment to moment lives. But we need to identify the larger problems & work on dismantling the sources of those.
