Hey there!

After many long months of hard work, we are now ready to release Vanilla Lore Expanded - an unofficial lore expansion. This book was a lot of fun to write - we got to expand the existing lore with our own ideas and interpretations, which in turn allowed us to come up with brand new, fitting mods.

Of course we stand on the shoulders of giants here - we did not invent the RimWorld world, that's a work of Tynan Sylvester. We merely expanded his vision and explored directions we thought needed exploring. The work is by no means official - it is written by a team of modders after all.

From the basics of RimWorld politics, to detailed explanations of Johnson-Tanaka drive, this book has it all. I hope you will enjoy it greatly, as we poured our hearts and souls into it.

The free version contains explanations of RimWorld technology, drugs, weapons, mechanoids, factions and storytellers.
