[DEVBLOG#193] Vanilla Lore Expanded work continues

Hey folks and welcome to a brand new development blog!

I'd like to calm the restless lot of you: the work on Vanilla Lore Expanded is ongoing, and it's going pretty darn fast.

We are at nearly 100 pages already, and we still have lots of material to include. We are constantly working with several illustrators to create cool RimWorld artworks, fitting for the book!

As you probably remember, we had a bit of a legal row with Ludeon Studios, and we had to agree to the very strict EULA to obtain license to even create derivative work in the first place.

As part of this EULA:

• We cannot print and sell the book in any physical format.
• We CAN share the book in digital format via our Patreon
• We CAN give out .pdf and printing instructions, so that our patrons can find their own online printer and get the book printed themselves
• We CAN use RimWorld intellectual property, assets etc.
• We CAN advertise our Patreon all over the book if we want to (we won't).

So yeah, it's just a gentle reminder that we won't be able to send you a printed version, but fear not, I will prepare all the files for online printing, so all you need to do is google book printing in your country and print it yourself.

Book will be available in two formats: A demo html flipbook which will contain about 25% of the actual book, available for free for everyone, and a full version pdf for Patrons of the $5 tier and above. This way we can offset some of the costs of making the book (we're into thousands territory now).

So yeah, we will carry on working on it, and when we have more to show you, you will be the first to know! It's super fun, and a very cool read. We're making sure there is not just cold scientific descriptions, but also histories, jokes etc.
