[SURVEY] Extinct animals?
Added 2019-08-24 10:13:31 +0000 UTCRimworld already has Megasloth, which is based on an extinct real life animal called Megatherium. Lore-wise, it has been brought back from extinction.
This gave me an idea of a new mod, Animals Expanded - Extinct animals. Ideally, I'd like them to be rare, precious, something that Alpha Animals tried to do but instead it ended up populating the whole world with them.
I would give players a reason to go and find these animals - whether it's for precious pelts, great combat power or other interesting abilities. Maybe even add a special orbital trader that pays top dollar for all the extinct animals?
The question is, if I was to release such a mod, how would you like these animals to appear in the world?
