Theater and bicycle postcards

Hi patrons! The children's theater just finished our second week of Fall classes, so there's been plenty of inspiration for newsletter cartoons:

(I've been working there 9 years, so I think it's safe to assume that I will NEVER get used to locking up the theater after dark!)

This is on the NW Flanders "Neighborhood greenway" that's supposed to provide uninterrupted biking from the waterfront into Northwest Portland. I know that construction happens, but I'm...grouchy and judgy about this segment.

I'm just saying, if you advertise a bike route to attract new and/or hesitant city bikers into a commercial district, you want to minimize any surprise or confusion if you want them to come a second time!

I am always pushing the limit of "too many groceries to bike home with." I did have to text Naomi for backup recently.

Lastly: Happy spooky season!

The audiobook of The Haunting of Hill House on Libby is read by Bernadette Dunne, and it's really good! It gave me that wonderful "drop everything" feeling, so I spent a chunk of today drawing this and listening to it. In fact, I'm 90% of the way through the audiobook, which is way past the point of no return, and I'm going to have a tough time saving the rest for tomorrow... But also it's dark, and I am a wuss...

Thanks, as always, for supporting me on Patreon! I hope you enjoyed the postcards.
