Summer camp postcards

Summer camp is back at the children's theater, which means I don't have to draw any more Zoom meetings! The first week of camp provided enough inspiration for a month's worth of newsletter cartoons, which will free up some much-needed time for SuperButch. (Sorry again!)
My housemates and I have also been looking for a new rental house for over a month, which is an entire part-time job. Surprise, it's hard to find a 4+ bedroom rental house with a feasible car-free commute to three different quadrants of the city. And sometimes you do find one, but you aren't the very first person to hit "Send" on your application. So it's been a slog. But on the bright side, we don't have a concrete date that we have to leave our current place. I'll keep you updated, and hopefully at some point I'll post photos of a pristine, cute new drawing area that isn't also a bedroom. (That panel in the last SuperButch page, where Lillian is revising her article while sitting with her back to her desk, and her feet on her bed? Definitely inspired by true-life events.)
Anyway, if you're in the Pacific Northwest, I hope you've recovered from that hellacious triple-digit heat wave! If you're not, I hope you're enjoying summer!
